As Memorial Day weekend approaches, I’m feeling the the importance of appreciating those who have served in the Armed Forces. I’m sure we all know someone who, while serving our country, has experienced or seen extreme trauma. These experiences live on for those who have survived their time in the military as well as for family members of survivors and the deceased.
This weekend let’s put aside our attempts to survive retirement and reach out to a military family, an active military participant or a veteran and tell them how much we appreciate their contributions. Then––let’s do whatever we can to bring peace to our world––near and far.
How will you recognize and honor our Military Forces this weekend? And what will be your contribution to peace? Please share your ideas ––you may inspire a great many people.
Please LIKE this on Facebook or email it to a friend to help others think about taking time out to make this Memorial Day special for those who serve our country so unselfishly.
